Kaitei gunkan

"Kaitei gunkan" is a pretty standard movie that doesn't really stand out with its plot, but rather with its good effects that connect technical inventions with "living" monsters. This is something that later began to appear even more often. The Japanese continue in what was their strength back then and what people were interested in. It's sometimes quite naive, but it's still entertaining. However, the film doesn't excel within the kaiju genre either. (04.05.2014)
