A man sits bolt upright in bed, a woman lying next to him, when three masked men burst in and attack them. He manages to break free - only to black out, wake up, and experience the same events all over again. So begins ARQ, the ambitious debut feature from screenwriter Tony Elliott, which fuses the dystopic-future sci-fi genre with a mind-twisting mystery. (Toronto International Film Festival)

angielski A simple, forgettable sci-fi, which uses a premise as old as time, starting a never-ending time-loop, where a lot of bad things happen to two good people. In Star Gate, Jack O’Neill starred in an episode which made this idea into one of the funniest things in the series. Tom Cruise used this idea in one of the best sci-fi blockbusters of the decade – Edge of Tomorrow. And Netflix turned it into a harmless experiment, which won’t offend anyone, and given the general attitude of Netflix towards the sci-fi genre, is quite decent. ()
