Pepe has been released from psychiatric hospital on completing his sentence for robbing to work. His need to fit into a senseless world becomes a desperate enterprise. Antonio, a tetraplegic writer, fights for the right to access his own body and for the sexuality of people with functional diversity, awakening the prejudices of those closest to him. The friendship between Antonio and Pepe questions the way we see life and invites us to recognise ourselves as an anomaly. (San Sebastian International Film Festival)

After reading the synopsis, I braced myself for what was to come. In the end, it is not so explicit. But when somebody puts the effort into making a movie about disabled people, they should be more skillful at introducing to the viewer the problems of the main characters in a way that gets you closer to them. This way, it came across as very unpersonal, inaccessible, reserved and distant. Over the years, I have learnt that movies about disabled people can be made with a feeling for the filmmaking craft. But this one only points out the issues, which on the one hand is no small thing, but as a movie, it’s simply average.
