Every year in spring and autumn the great fashion designers show their new collections to the public. For top models like Christy Turlington these periods are extremely busy. Director Robert Leacock followed Turlington with his camera on one such gruelling tour of shows in Milan, Paris and New York. We see her and equally famous colleagues such as Naomi Campbell and Claudia Schiffer in one magnificent creation after the other, designed by celebrities like Gianni Versace, Karl Lagerfeld, Jean-Paul Gaultier and Isaac Mizrahi. Christy cheerfully puts up with the unremitting attention for her appearance. On rare occasions we get a glimpse of the other side of the coin, like when she is alone in her hotel room with her make?up taken off and she sighs: "It's a nice life, it's fast, you laugh a lot, you meet many people, but sometimes you wish you could stay longer at one place, instead of having to move all the time."
