A poignant tragicomedy about the search for real happiness, LE MIRAGE is told from the point of view of a man in his late 30's who is becoming dissatisfied with the empty consumerism of his life and the loss of intimacy in his marriage. Patrick is in his late 30's and seems to have it all – he has a business and a beautiful home with a lovely wife, two children, a large car in the garage, a saltwater pool in the garden, friends he can share it all with and a credit card he uses with bravado. But it is all a mirage. In truth, no one shops at his sports store, his children don't want to go to their soccer practise but he forces them to go anyway, he is the last thing on his wife's mind, the only thing that his friends talk about is money and he is about to go bankrupt. With such discontent, the only thing he is enthusiastic about these days is internet porn and fantasizing about this wife's best friend – but he can't even do that right. (Cinemax)

angielski Come on! The protagonist had everything he could dream of but he still wanted more. Under the influence of his wife, who wants a boob job, and his children, who want a present every single day, he suddenly realized that his life has no meaning. One of the richest countries in the world – Canada – knows how to captivate an average European viewer. Thankfully I don’t have to be afraid of feeling overwhelmed by having it all and becoming a nerve wreck with no meaning of life because of all the money I have. However, it is a very decent drama. I believe that there are plenty of such people around us. ()
