Set in 1776, this historical film by Petr Hvižď concerns an army deserter who takes refuge within the walls of the Convent of St. Claire. In the production of the 90s, a decent film and one of the few successful attempts at a genre film, however, in competition with historical works from the pre-November era, it only occupies a slightly better average. The best performance of Marek Vašut's post-November performances (which doesn't mean he shines...), a smaller but significant and well-played character of the priest portrayed by Tříska. Overall impression 60%.
