El aprendiz

Pablo is a 21-year-old cook apprentice living with his mother in the coastal town of Necochea. His spends his days chopping parsley, hanging out with his girlfriend, trying to stop his mother from drinking too much and killing time at bars or onboard a Volkswagen 1500 with his friends. With them, Pablo is also learning another trade related to small-time criminal life: doing the dirty work for "el Chaqueño" in exchange for a few bucks. In his head, every "job" draws him closer to the dream of opening his own restaurant, even though, as days go by, he will realize that dirty business doesn't always come out as one hoped.
