Maximo (Eugenio Derbez), urodzony latynoski lowelas, od zawsze żył na koszt starszych kobiet. Ostatnie 25 lat spędził u boku swojej niemłodej, bajecznie bogatej żony. Niestety kapryśna 80-latka znalazła sobie młodszego, a biedny Maximo został wyrzucony na bruk. Bez pieniędzy, limuzyn i helikoptera. Jedyne co mógł zrobić to zamieszkać u swojej siostry. Powrót na łono rodziny okazał się całkiem znośny, a mały bratanek od razu podbił jego serce. Jednak Maximo nadal, nie zważając na to, że już nie jest dawnym młodym bogiem, usilnie pragnie zdobyć serce i konto bogatej starszej pani. Ale czy ona go zechce? (Cineman)

Pleasant, non-offensive, and non-vulgar comedy from the USA, which is almost a miracle nowadays, with a moral lesson at the end that won’t offend and will pleasantly entertain you with its humor.

The plot didn't surprise me so much as a single time, but I was pleasantly surprisedby Eugenio Derbez, a Mexican comedian with a perfect sense of wit, who handles the role of the self-important goofy gigolo as well as the estranged brother and uncle, and at times plays them much like Pierre Richard. In general, the entire comedy is pleasantly French in style and easy to watch, though not subversive in the least.

I thought it would be a bit funnier, but especially in the beginning there were moments when I wasn't having much fun. Once it got going a bit, though, I had fun, and I really enjoyed some of the scenes. The finale is already a classic, which is necessary because the main character can't end up being a jerk, but still, it's well-done as a comedy.
