After receiving a 40 year sentence at the age of 18, a young black man turns himself into a boxer in prison. The violence within him, responsible for getting him into prison, might be his ticket out as he starts to get looks from Olympic scouts. However, leaving prison once and for all will also mean leaving the one thing he can't live without – his white transgender cellmate. (Newport Beach International Film Festival)
