Yet again, the Hungarians are having a blast. While nobody in the Czech Republic – except for maybe one director – dares to shoot a film about the Roma, the Hungarians manage to shoot a quite clever and innovative comedy with a fairly high filmmaking quality. It’s a shame that with the racist and non-PC approach, they sort of sawed off the branch they were sitting on. If it were a bit rougher, it could have been legendary.
