angielski No, not much. It was such a typical fairytale about a kingdom that looked like a bigger village, with the local toothpuller, Mr. Nebuč, being the greatest authority, and the highlight of the local cultural season was the arrival of a mini circus. The whole thing gave me the impression of a rushed work on the script, whose author apparently didn't mind occasionally borrowing some ideas from more successful ventures. In the end, it didn't help her much, because it resulted in a strange patchwork where some characters were oddly underutilized (the water sprite and the ghost), the royal army apparently (who knows why) fought at Solferino, and where many non-actors were involved (see the completely wooden Petr Mikula). And then the viewer can't help but be surprised when DJ Dudák provides the music at the royal feast. Like I said – a bigger village. / Lesson: When making a deal with the devil, at least wish for something decent. ()

angielski A fairy tale based on the work of the national artist Josef Lada. That doesn't sound so bad, but it’s not as good as other Czech fairy tales. It also makes me sick to think that this was inspired by all those Naughty Princesses with a progressive modern spirit. ()
