Kaze to ki to sora to

After graduating high school, Takiko (Sayuri Yoshinaga) moves to Tokyo with her former classmates in hopes to find a decent job. Through the mass employment program she is hired by the Yasukawa family, as their housekeeper. When she and her friends gather at a nearby park to trade their first job experiences, she discovers that two of her classmates, Nobuko and Takeo, were getting married. Sweeping around the house, Takiko realizes that she has been keeping her emotions swept under the rug as well – she too was in love with Takeo. (Nikkatsu)
