The Super is an American production demonstrating that apartment buildings in America, especially in New York, are somehow cursed and better avoided. You are really better off living somewhere else. Despite a screenplay that tries to be something it is not, the movie is easy to watch, and some scenes are quite scary, some first-rate. However, some are really not very good, and for my money, The Super is simply an average horror movie.
