Uznana za czarownicę i jako sierota bezbronna wobec oskarżeń, dziewięcioletnia Shula zostaje wysłana do obozu dla wiedźm. Wykluczone ze wspólnoty, odizolowane kobiety zmuszane są do ciężkiej pracy i traktowane jako turystyczna atrakcja (kilkoma satyrycznymi scenami reżyserka właściwie "pozamiatała" – by trzymać się akcesoriów wiedźm – sprawę tzw. turystyki cierpienia wiodącej szlakami przemocy i biedy). Had the story been 40 minutes long, it probably wouldn’t be bad. This way, it’s hard to endure the African view of life for very long. It may seem interesting at first glance, but as soon as the shaman starts dancing in the office and begins to contemplate one girl’s life, believe me, it will start to annoy you. As a curiosity, the movie is good but it doesn’t have much of a chance to attract more attention in Europe.

This is a film that may not sit well with you, and you may think it's just crazy how people live in Africa, but they may think we're just as crazy. But the fact is that accusing a little girl of witchcraft is a bit much. Unfortunately, even in this day and age, there are people who will believe it. And I'd be willing to bet they're not all from Africa.
