Po tragicznej śmierci rodziców Rachel i jej brat bliźniak - Edward samotnie zamieszkują mroczną posiadłość Loftus Hall. Według lokalnej legendy jest to dom przeklęty, nawiedzony przez dawnych mieszkańców - The Lodgres. Rodzeństwo musi przestrzegać określonych reguł, żeby uniknąć okrutnej kary i przeżyć.
