Dom z papieru (Netflix wersja) (2017)

angielski Hats off and panties off too, this is a gem that needs to be saved, sealed and archived! In seventeen hours, the Spaniards serve up the most well thought out money heist and negotiation thriller at the same time. It will have you biting your nails, tearing your hair out, swallowing pills, drinking Red Bull, changing your sheets and forgetting to go to work. You'll witness the biggest heist in history, where the brains of the operation has been devising the plan for half his life, putting him five steps ahead of the police every time. Every variable and every step has been thought out to the millimeter. The characters are brilliantly written (the Professor, Berlin, Tokyo and the Chief Inspector steal all the scenes for themselves), and the script is so imaginative, creative and well thought out that it seems almost unbelievable that anyone could come up with this. You'll love the main gang of thieves and gradually come to hate some of them. The music is great too, and when backed up by the onslaught of twists and turns, you feel like you're watching the finale of Saw. The Spaniards have never served up so many twists and turns in seventeen hours in all the history of their cinema! Of course, there's also the Stockholm Syndrome, which leads to sex in a vault, and the countless wisecracks and quips served up by the excellent Berlin (the story about the rebellious virgins and the nuclear warheads coming out of a woman's uterus is not to be missed). So watch out! The Spaniards at their best! Recommended 10/10! ()

Season 3 (2019) (S03)

angielski We're about to see Season 4, which has perhaps the best trailer I've ever seen, so it was nice to catch up with Season 3. I don't feel like the quality of the series has dropped, new characters have been added, but they're great replacements (the new Inspector in particular is very uncompromising bi*ch!) and the finale is quite possibly the best part of the whole series, with the Professor making a shocking decision. I can't wait, this is numero uno among series and across the board. 100%. ()

Season 4 (2020) (S04)

angielski Again, the absolute peak of filmmaking, directing and screenwriting. In the 4th season, although it was less about negotiations and gimmicks, it added emotions and more action (Gandia was a super "bad guy"), and the fall of one character, during which we all certainly shed more than one tear. Nervous as fuck, high for one day, my heart was jumping to a heart attack state. Numero uno across the film and series spectrum. If you haven't seen it, you haven't lived it. 100% ()

Season 5 (2021) (S05)

angielski The end of a great era. The End Game amongst the series and it's a very worthy, serious, spectacular and impressive five-year ending to something that changed my life, changed my perspective on movies, and had me emotionally choked up and tugging at my balls for five years. The only series I've watched twice and one of the few that contains absolutely every cinematic element, attribute and sub-genre honed to perfection. Money Heist has sex appeal and balls that creates, redefines and enhances the heist subgenre to absolute perfection. For me, the series of all series that made me squint with tension, gasp, cry with sadness and emotion, scream a fan at the world championship during action scenes, immediately pick up pencil and paper during philosophical musings of the Professor, and smile beautifully from ear to ear. The here dialogue was scripted by God himsel, the music was shaped by a genius, the characters were chosen by a master, and the twists were served up by an abnormal talent. I have absolutely no compliants or quibbles about each of the seasons. The finale is once again thought through and once again the creators prove that they are definitely not running out of ideas. It's remarkable to look back at the series, how already in 2017 they knew what was going to happen in season 5. Of course, the series has detractors, but for me it's just a handful of posers who are both trying to make themselves visible, interesting and look more intelligent than the entire crew that was involved in the writing. Ha! Jokes on you bitc*hes. Story 5/5, Action 5/5, Humour 4/5, Violence 4/5, Fun 5/5 Music 5/5, Visuals 5/5, Atmosphere 5/5, Suspense 5/5, Emotion 5/5, Actors 5/5. 100% ()
