Der große Rudolph

The story is fiction, but the characters are real - and larger than life. During the 1980s, Rudolph Moshammer is Munich's best-known fashion designer. Yet his financiers aren't interested in Mosi's fame, only the money of his filthy-rich clientele. Looking to hire an attractive saleswoman, Mosi finds Evi, a pedicurist from Augsburg. The well-to-do come to the boutique in Maximilianstrasse to see and be seen. But Mosi's mother, who is plotting and scheming in the background, apparently has yet to be consulted. (Filmfest München)
