An excellent, sit back and relax series with the muscleman from Brussels, not just for his staunch fans. JCVJ is packed full of movie references and crazy twists. In places it’s a parody on Bond movies, but it has an inner logic which the creators can cram in even the most crackpot idea almost in Future Man style. I’m a little sad that Amazon did not run the series for a second season, but this way Van Varenberg can give up while the going’s good.
