Duńscy policjanci podczas interwencji przypadkiem zatrzymują w Kopenhadze groźnego islamskiego terrorystę Imrana. Wystarczy jednak chwila nieuwagi, by udało mu się zbiec, śmiertelnie raniąc jednego z nich. Christian (Nikolaj Coster-Waldau) przysięga, że zrobi wszystko, by go dopaść i pomścić śmierć swojego partnera. Nie ma pojęcia, że jest on przypadkową ofiarą brutalnej gry wywiadów, w której agent CIA (Guy Pearce) używa Imrana jako pionka, mającego pozwolić mu dotrzeć do przywódców ISIS. angielski The art of leaving on time, unfortunately, is not common to everyone and it is understandable that Brian De Palma wanted to say goodbye to the genre he dedicated himself to and has immense experience in. Unfortunately, both the script and, more painfully, the direction fail in perfect harmony here. The film is not bad enough to discourage you from watching it, let alone so disastrous that it is entertaining in its incompetence. It is one of those cases where you say to yourself when watching the last scene: "God, I wasted my time again." It wasn't worth it. The main protagonist, a police officer, immediately proves himself to be a fool in the first scene, only to demonstrate an incomprehensible short circuit in the second scene that should cost him his job immediately, and probably even lead to criminal prosecution. There is no point in elaborating on the cheap production, poor editing, and camera work. Overall impression: 25%. ()

angielski Nikolai Coster-Waldau portrays a rather incompetent policeman who forgets his service weapon at home and leaves his injured colleagues without first aid and then sets out on the trail of Islamic terrorists. The name Domino, rather than capturing the theme, more accurately sums up Skavlan's screenplay, which simply falls apart page after page. In terms of direction, this thriller is completely run-of-the-mill and represents a step backward for Brian De Palma. His strange fascination with portraying the threat of terrorism was covered sufficiently with his movie Redacted, and so here it just becomes downright exhausting, especially after the doubled depiction of the terrorist attack on a fictional film festival in Amsterdam. I would just like to know if the creators were trying to say more with this movie and not just attempting to shock (especially Dutch) movie-goers who attend European movie festivals, which this movie failed to reach. They really missed the mark here. ()
