I can't help it, but I just love the legend of the Monkey King, it's something deeply rooted within me. The story that The Monkey King: The Legend Begins presents, is not at all original, but it is imaginative and it is executed in such a visual way that it is simply breathtaking in places - and that's not just the special effects, which are mostly excellent. Wonderful villain!
