I simply couldn’t miss out on a first introduction to Cypriot films. And as luck would have it, it’s a simple road movie that is based on good dialogues and two strong characters. Well…strong…that depends. They’re rather full of problems. But what can you do when you are driving an old Mercedes Benz down a beautiful Cypriot road and all of the sudden you see on the horizon a person wearing a wedding dress? Well? You pick her up, that’s for sure. And Committed is based on this simple idea. Add all the above and a nice commercial for Cyprus and you will be as satisfied as I was. (03.09.2015)
