Boss of Bosses is a superbly acted drama whose 90-minute runtime is unfortunately not enough for a proper mafia epic. It’s too short, too direct and too simple. But as a light TV movie, it’s fine, which is mainly thanks to Chazz Palminteri. This guy can be a story’s driving force just as much as Robert De Niro and Al Pacino can.
