Ivo (Frederick Lau) jest byłym profesjonalnym piłkarzem, któremu kilka razy zdarzyło się złamać prawo. Mężczyzna nieźle sobie jednak radzi robiąc zakłady. Doskonale odnajduje się w temacie sportu i wie jak dobrze obstawiać. Zwraca to uwagę Dejansa (Oliver Masucci), który wciąga go do świata oszustw i manipulacji. Pewnego dnia Ivo spotka utalentowanego sportowo Lucasa (Mateo Wansing Lorrio), który przypomina mu jego samego z dawnych czasów. Mężczyzna zakochuje się też w matce chłopca. (HBO)

The Germans made some very good casting choices here. Frederick Lau and Oliver Masucci are for me the two most interesting German actors of today, and here they are pitted against each other. It’s a pity, however, that the film didn’t make much sense. I don’t want to spoil anything, but the ending seemed very primitive to me. But whatever. As everything else was alright, I won’t dwell on that much and award the film with a solid three-star rating.
