When One Door Closes (E06)

When the body of Brooke Dodson washes ashore, the hunt for her killer goes into overdrive, as the homicide detectives find themselves in a deadly cat and mouse game. With Superintendent Andrew Currie (guest star Alex Carter), who also happens to be Staff Inspector Fiona Currie’s (Wendy Crewson) ex-husband, breathing down their necks, Fiona rallies the troops and focuses them on Alvin Flowers (Hume Baugh), the prime suspect in the original redhead murders from all those years ago. Fanning out across the city in a multi-prong investigation, Detectives Stevie Hall (Angela Griffin) and Jack Cooper (Shenae Grimes-Beech) follow a high-octane path. After questioning a masseuse he’s been known to frequent, they track down Alvin’s even-creepier relative, who goes by the name “Hot Gus” (Brandon McGibbon, Splice), who will hopefully lead them to their suspect.
