Although professionally successful, a quirky, conservative optometrist unceremoniously ends her 40th birthday celebration due to her overall unhappiness with the way her personal life has turned out. With her biological clock ticking at a very clamorous volume in her own her head, she sets out on a spiritual journey with the help of her two friends to ease her desperation and find her perceived happiness in a mate and subsequent family and avoid being alone for the rest of her life.
