40-letnia prokurator Dorota (Agata Kulesza) pije, by – jak sama mówi – „nie zwariować”. Zasłaniając się immunitetem, ukrywa wszystkie wykroczenia popełnione „pod wpływem”. Skutecznie pomaga jej w tym mąż, znany polityk (Marcin Dorociński). Studentka Magda (Maria Dębska) lubi ostro imprezować, ale świetnie się uczy i ma super pracę, więc nikt nie robi jej z tego wyrzutów. Dla szanowanej chirurg – Teresy (Dorota Kolak) każdy pretekst jest dobry, żeby się napić. Alkoholu nie odmawia sobie nawet w pracy, w szpitalu dziecięcym, którego jest ordynatorem. Wkrótce, w życiu każdej z kobiet nastąpią wydarzenia, po których ich problem przybierze na sile. Czy wspierane przez rodziny i przyjaciół bohaterki zdążą go w porę pokonać? (Kino Świat)

I’m not sure if the FTC shouldn’t intervene, as the title of the film is clearly misleading the consumer (i.e., the viewer). Instead of Zabawa, zabawa (= Fun, fun), a more appropriate title would be Depression, Depression. The Danish Another Round (2020) was entertaining in a different way. It presented the depressing subject in a more palatable form without trivializing it. The Polish filmmakers opted for a grim representation. While it was a quality film, I’d have appreciated it if things lightened up a bit occasionally. There’s another thing that bothered me. The filmmakers should have either limited the film to just one story or increased the running time considerably (I wouldn’t mind at all). This way, the individual storylines weren't properly fleshed out, and the film seemed to be missing something. On the other hand, I was completely okay with the open endings, as they added a touch of reality to the storylines. I had a great time watching the film. I’m simply a fan of Polish cinema. / Lesson learned: I guess they drink a lot in Poland.
