Spokesville is a a cheerful town of clean streets and unpolluted air inhabited by charming bicycles that lead wonderful lives… until one day a new, amazing contraption arrives into town: the gasoline engine. Speedy is a mountain bike as courageous and kind as he is fast. He is content with his quiet job as a postman, until his best friends, Pinion, Gassy and Montana, led by their environmentalist ideas, get him to act as the unwitting leader of a plan to prevent the gasoline engine from spoiling their paradise.
