This retro crime comedy takes place during hardcore socialism in Latvia. TV scriptwriter Imant is tasked with writing a story about thieves and con artists. In an effort to increase the authenticity and credibility of his narrative, he and his friend Harijs start trying the examples out. But he forgets that at the end of every good story, the protagonists get exactly what they deserve. (Febiofest)
