Oto prawdziwa historia dwóch braci krwi, Abahachi i Rangera, którzy walcząc o pokój, wolność i sprawiedliwość na Dzikim Zachodzie galopują w kółko bez celu, wtykają wszędzie nos i podążają godzinami za bezsensownymi tropami. Problemy zaczynają się, gdy Abahachi bierze pożyczkę od Indian Szoszonów na otwarcie saloonu dla swych współplemieńców. Okazuje się, że agent obrotu nieruchomościami wcale nie jest agentem, tylko krętaczem i wyjątkowo wrednym gościem o nazwisku Santa Maria. Saloon posiada jedynie fasadę, a Santa Maria ulatnia się z forsą. Na domiar złego Abahachi i Ranger zostają oskarżeni o zamordowanie syna wodza Szoszonów Śmiałego Zająca. Nie mają wyboru - muszą znaleźć skarb, który dziad Abahachiego Szparki Ptak zapisał mu w spadku wiele lat temu, spłacić Szoszonów i udowodnić swą niewinność. Nie tak łatwo odnaleźć skarb. Zwłaszcza, że Abahachi podzielił wiodącą do niego mapę na cztery ćwiartki i teraz za nic nie może sobie przypomnieć, komu oddał pozostałe trzy części. (Monolith)

angielski A surprisingly bearable movie that is better than some of the more recent adaptations of Karl May’s books about the Wild West. You will find a few really lame and embarrassing gags here, but luckily these are outweighed by a few ideas of genius. Most of the rest of the movie is a decent parody on adaptations of May’s works (once very popular in Central Europe) with some nods to other pictures too. ()

angielski Well, this was quite a disappointment. After the TV trailer and the reviews, I was expecting a great western parody, but in the end the filmmakers failed to turn everything they had at stake into profit. Abahachi and Ranger were great, the main villain also played his part with great gusto and there were a few jokes that still make me laugh every time I think of them. Unfortunately, there were places where I was suspiciously bored, and also some jokes that completely missed the mark and brought the bar down to a much lower level. Still, hats off to someone other than the Zucker brothers and Mel Brooks for managing to make a very enjoyable and brisk parody that may be far from perfect, but the good moments flash by significantly more often than the bad ones. 65% ()
