Kandahar opowiada historię młodej dziennikarki, Nafas, aktualnie mieszkającej w Kanadzie, która jako dziecko wyemigrowała z Afganistanu. Teraz jedzie do swojej ojczyzny. Jej siostra chce popełnić samobójstwo podczas najbliższego zaćmienia Słońca. Nafas chce odwieść ją od tego zamiaru. Ścigając się ze Słońcem, przemierza kraj ogarnięty wojną z talibami. (Grube Ryby)
