angielski What have I just watched, and what is the best way to describe it? I am thinking of something like it was a weird mix of Steins; Gate meets The Matrix... However, that might make it sound like it is quite an original science fiction movie! Well, to be perfectly honest, it is and it is not... Some of the ideas are really very interesting, and have given my imagination quite a workout, although I could not embrace all of it one hundred percent. There were just some things that just kind of rubbed me up the wrong way, and I had a few questions that needed answers, because some stuff really did not make sense. However, it is still a decent movie, although the animation is as inconsistent as the whole world of anime. Some of the scenes look gorgeous, colorful and spell-binding, however, at other times some things appear artificial and flawed (some movements and special effects) when the animation depends on the CGI too much... The soundtrack functions exactly as it should in most cases, except perhaps for one song that I thought did not quite work for me at one point. I like the main couple, although most characters are certainly not that memorable, they just get the job done. So, what about the emotional aspect? In most cases I was impressed by the movie’s intensity and sentimental vibe, sometimes the mood was nice, sometimes pleasantly romantic, and sometimes dramatic and sad, although, in my opinion, in some parts, they over-egged the proverbial pudding...In the end, it makes for an interesting movie that held my attention, although the overall impression of it all are so - strange. 6/10.
