Fiona Ziegler's directorial debut is certainly not as bad as the reviews here might suggest. The author seems to have paid for the fact that she takes on quite a large number of themes, but unfortunately she has hardly developed any of them in a way that would attract the viewer's attention and draw him into the plot. It's a shame about the wasted potential, because for instance the casting really wasn’t bad at all. Apart from the absolutely convincing Ivan Pokorný as the authoritative father, I was most impressed by Dominique Jann as the protagonist, but Hana Vagnerová as his femme fatale was far from bad too.
