It almost feels like a classic film noir, where it's about a femme fatale who significantly changes the life of an ordinary person. But how can a person be ordinary when they have the face of Robert Mitchum? Every now and then, you will have the feeling that you know the film because it repeats themes from other, older works of film noir. Nevertheless, it doesn't take away from its strength completely.
