This comedic plot is truly well-done in this case, especially the meetings between Poirot and the prince are excellent, as these are two perfectly different characters. The plot with the ruby is also not bad at all, and the various Christmas props are quite innovatively utilized. Additionally, throughout the whole time, you don't know what is happening, who is dead, and who isn't. In this aspect, the episode is successful.
