Mario Casas is Spain's biggest star together with Luis Tosar, and I'm definitely interested in each of his films. Bye is not exactly a typical Spanish film. The story focuses on Mario, who is released from prison and very shortly afterwards loses his daughter in a car crash caused on purpose. He sets out to find the culprits and avenge his daughter. The film is more action than suspense, but it has a good pace, likeable characters and fine visuals. However, I prefer twisty thrillers from the Spaniards. Story***, Action***, Humor>No, Violence***, Entertainment****, Music***, Visual****, Atmosphere***, Suspense***. 6.5/10.
