It is very clear that Koreans have been inspired by American films in their current cinematography and want to catch up with them. They succeed perfectly in terms of visual quality, but sometimes they only manage to imitate American techniques, which is simply wrong. And that's also the case with the movie "Geugjeogin Harutbam", a romantic comedy that ultimately feels overly saccharine.
