I usually quite enjoy Nordic mysteries, but the Icelandic series The Valhalla Murders didn't do it for me. Before it got going, I took a few naps during the first three episodes. By approximately the sixth episode, I finally started to enjoy it, and by the seventh episode, I also began to appreciate the music, which managed to draw me into the story. Unfortunately, the very end had a slightly downward tendency again. Overall, I thought the script was pretty weak. However, the filmmakers at least managed to spice up the narrative with a suitably gloomy atmosphere. (65%)
