At the dawn of the internet, Australian Blonde, standard-bearers of Spanish indie music, joined Steve Wynn, a legend of American underground, to “distance compose” a record together. SWAB 2000: Steve Wynn & Australian Blonde, live at Moby Dick Club relates the historical gestation, recording and subsequent tour of Momento. This joint album was concurrently released in 2000. One of the first albums for which it has been determined that it was composed through the internet, with the creation of a triangle New York, Gijón, Cádiz, through which DAT tapes and mp3 with lyrics and music were exchanged across the Atlantic Ocean. Twenty years later, the protagonists of this story recall that pioneering adventure with the support of fifteen hours of original material in eight different formats.
