angielski A forgotten horror gem. A happy family (parents and three kids) welcome their old auntie Alejandra in their home. The good thing is that auntie has plenty of money, so her “care” will be financially covered. But every pro has its con, auntie is a bit of a witch and anyone who would only look bad at her is calling for trouble. We don’t have to wait long for the first “unfortunate” accident and the situation soon gets very nasty. Aunt Alejandra is an excellent horror thriller; a beautiful, slow and atmospheric film, with good performances and amazingly shot. Probably the best horror film about witches that I’ve seen after Argento’s Suspiria. For genre fans for whom cinema doesn’t begin in 2000, this is a must-see. ()
