The first season seems to lose its grip and momentum with each new episode. The number of flashbacks and internal dialogue keeps increasing, while the plot itself feels like it's stuck in place. The only thrill I get is in a sort of guessing game: trying to predict how much more alcohol Cassie can handle before getting completely wasted again. The character of Annie has become somewhat amusing to me, but it's not enough to salvage the episode. / Lesson learned: What you learn in your youth, your liver will pay for later.
