angielski Let Them All Talk surprised me because of how much (empty) talking there is, and I had quite a problem keeping my attention while watching it as a result. If I didn't know that Steven Soderbergh directed it, I would have thought it was a Woody Allen film, for whom these conversational pieces are characteristic. The central trio of actresses are wonderfully sober and natural (interestingly enough, it was improvisation), yet I found three quarters of the film incredibly plodding. It was only in the last quarter that I felt some plot build-up that awakened my attention as a viewer. An acting tour-de-force whose (visible and audible) quality tones did not suit me, unfortunately! ()

angielski Let them all talk, they'll never tell each other the important stuff anyway. This is a film about silent wrongs, eternal things left unsaid and the fact that the most important and profound things are made of the most trivial things. Written on picometers, shot on picometers, played and timed, brilliant in every line and dot. Like sailing through an ocean of imperfect pauses and interruptions. For me, this probably Soderbergh's finest hour. ()
