Historia spotkania Standy i Olinki urozmaicona jest epizodycznymi opowiadaniami o kilkunastu godzinach z życia mieszkańców jednej z brneńskich kamienic. Mąż - masochista, którego wymaganiom nie chce i nie potrafi sprostać zdegustowana żona, kolejno - pracownica uniwersytetu, specjalistka od stosunków damsko - męskich, która wyjątkowo, jak na eksperta - psychologa, nie radzi sobie z mężczyznami, to tylko niektóre z oryginalnych postaci. Wspólnym mianownikiem wszystkich przygód jest strach przed samotnością i pragnienie seksualnego spełnienia, co niekoniecznie ma związek z miłością. (Vivarto)

Everything's going to happen tonight. Don't eat that, man, it's lubricated. You know, Olinka, it's not going to be pretty. Touch me, Standa. The best Czech comedy in a very long time with such a beautifully human view of sex that it got deep under my skin. Plus, seeing Donutil again in a "real" role is great. Morávek was able to make a film with almost theatrical precision; everything is based on pointed dialogues and excellent acting performances. Hooray, I want more of these little antidotes!

The other star I’m giving it is basically just for the film about the film, which gave me the courage and conviction that it actually turned out pretty well (given the crew that made it). This is a film in the same vein as Wild Bees, which leads to bad things.

I'm not saying the film doesn't have its great moments, but most of the time it lived up to its name. It's quite a shame, because both lead actors convinced me that they were ‘special’, and their support teams were great, too, but the rest of the storylines didn't work so well for me. I enjoyed about a third of the total runtime. And that just doesn’t do it for me.
