Dr. Bailey chats with fellow train passenger Cissie Bederaux, returning to New York to meet her brother Nick and his wife Allida. Bailey discovers that Cissie has died and he goes to see the Bederaux. He falls in love with Allida, and suspects that the jealous Nick is determined to pass her off as insane.
