Did the film succeed in revealing to film fans the true personality of Isabelle Huppert hidden behind the faces of her heroines? Not at all. And I think that was the intention. The selection of film excerpts also strengthens the idea of the French star as mysterious, impenetrable, and inaccessible, but at the same time provocatively exciting femme fatale, who exercises power over anyone who crosses her path. The interviews are more or less a waste of time, while the film excerpts demonstrate a professional with an extensive film repertoire, who has charisma to spare.
