Hush up or fight, that is the choice successful singer Sonne faces when abuse from the past threatens her family again. Poignant drama with leading roles for Eelco Smits, Abbey Hoes and Georgina Verbaan. Following her elder sister’s unforeseen death, singer-songwriter Sonne (25) to her family’s astonishment furiously throws herself into the protection of her niece Lotte (12). Nobody understands what drives her and why she even cancels her tour. But when her fight with Lotte’s lawful father leads to a lawsuit, her shame-riddled past full of abuse inevitably comes to light.
