angielski A film with an immensely interesting visual aspect, which definitely deserves attention, simply because it is a relatively satirical comedy that was able to demonstrate the cunningness of some people, as well as the naivety but also the tediousness of others. The man, portrayed by Erich von Stroheim himself, takes advantage of a bored woman to win her heart. Despite being a schemer, he is a character that stands out from the rest, especially due to von Stroheim himself. The colored version has its own special charm and unequivocally shows a film that is worth paying attention to. However, it doesn't change the fact that I will never be a big fan of silent films and I have to force myself to watch them. The acting performances here are not always overly exaggerated, although Stroheim himself is a strong iconic caricature. Thanks to that, he stands out in the film. Stroheim, however, excels not only in the ironic part of the film, but surprisingly also impresses in action sequences. ()
