The film, which was originally edited from over nine hours to four and then subsequently to just under two hours. Von Stroheim no longer intervened in the editing and essentially distanced himself from the work. Most of it was destroyed, only photographs from the shooting and individual shots have been preserved, which were combined with the two-hour-long surviving film to create a result that is both a film and a projection of photographs at the same time. What is closest to Von Stroheim's wish - they followed the technical screenplay. This does not change the fact that greed is truly... grandiose here.

A decent 4 hours on the topic of working with PowerPoint presentations. Or that no additional hour would be wasted. Sometimes I really prefer The Groom with the Curly Hair, because it's the only place where the silent film wasn’t hurt by the Brandenburg Waltz. Of course the work with the gold!
