angielski An example of a quality Soviet comedy, which probably not only I considered a non-existent species. The remake of the director's originally dramatic text captures the very civil and ordinary story of official Novoseltsev, who first greedily seeks to garner the interest of his superior, Kaluginova. The clash of the very chaotic and insecure Novoseltsev with a starchy and venomously measured woman gives rise to a lot of excellent dialogues and sober and believable situations, which make one smile precisely through their non-stylization and how ordinary they are. The film thus blends the honesty of theatrical dialogues, low-budget television directing and beautifully melancholic lyrical inserts, where impressive music and texts intertwine with shots of the coming spring in Moscow. Although Office Romance is incredibly long, it evokes a very pleasant and familiar tone, which completely engulfed me, and if it weren't for a little cheap magic with the story scheme at the end, this melancholic ride through the Soviet past would be absolutely flawless. Definitely worth praising is the brilliant construction of the film, from which nice episodic motifs and especially the acting concert of the duo Miagkov-Frejndliková and Basilašvili-Nemoljajev are evoked. And, of course, the hard-to-overlook satirical undertone, which strikes the absurdity of the active "party" Shura. Compared to a romantic Hollywood comedy, this film is perhaps from a different dimension, and I have to emphasize that this genre is one of my least favorite. Five stars for the wonderful atmosphere.
