Nigerian Biyi Bandele is an acclaimed prolific playwright and versatile novelist. His 1997 adaptation of fellow Nigerian Chinua Achebe's Things Fall Apart for the British stage confirmed his accomplishments as a prominent and powerful voice from Africa. His fictional works include – The Man Who Came in from the Back of Beyond (1991); The Street (1999) and the well-received Burma Boy (2007). Biyi, made his film directorial debut with the award-winning ''Half Of A Yellow Sun''.
