Beata Parkanová

Screenwriter, director and author was growing up in Velké Meziříčí and Jihlava. She studied at the Josef Škvorecký High School and FAMU – department of screenwriting and dramaturgy. She began her cinematic work with medium length documentary and live action films, as well as serving as assistant director for Milostné písně (Love Songs, directed by Bohdan Karásek, Czech Film section at the Karlovy Vary Festival 2014).
